NETIVYAH I would like for you all to pray for the youth from our congregation who are now finishing High School and in the Israeli Military. We have several children who have grown up in our congregation and who are either already in the military and all in wonderful high units and several who are about to enter in this summer. Please pray for their witness in the army and their health and protection. In fact there are near 300 soldiers in the Israeli military who come from faithful homes of Jewish Disciples of Yeshua and all of them as I said excel and do above and beyond the call of duty. They all need your prayers. Joseph Shulam. Morning Star Congregation Please pray for the speaking tour that Claude and Michelle will undertake in Germany in June. Two members of our worship team, Andrei and Sasha, will join us at the end of June for a few days with a whole delegation of other Israeli worshipers. The purpose is to intercede and worship with our German brothers to spiritually unlock the region of Pirna (located close to Dresden). Between 1940 and 1942 this place had been an experimental killing hospital used by the Nazis. It released a spirit of death in all Saxonia. God willing, we intend to release forgiveness, worship and blessing to cleanse the spiritual atmosphere over this region. We are actively working toward unity with the fellowships in the Galilee. Several other Jewish and Arab fellowship’s leaders have the same vision and we already had some meetings together. The elders try to meet together more or less regularly and we invite one another to speak in our respective fellowships. We hope to be able to pray corporately in the same spirit for the salvation of Israel and the threats that hover over our land. (I include the following personal prayer request because it is so typical of the problems faced in the country. Editor.) O. & T. have also arrived from Ukraine with their 20 years old daughter D. and their son T. They live presently in Safed and are studying in an ulpan (Hebrew class). D. wants to go to the army but she is not sure that she can be accepted because of her age. Please pray for the family to be able to find jobs as unemployment is generally very high in Safed. Pray also for T. who had a serious trauma in the past in Ukraine. If your church would like to befriend and support a Messianic congregation in Israel, please see ‘How can I become involve’ at the bottom of this newsletter, or ph Carla 021 559 2958 for details. |
