Dr. Dan Juster, founding President and General Secretary of the Union of Messianic Jewish Congregations, spoke at a David and Jonathan Foundation breakfast in Cape Town on the topic “The New Testament from a Messianic Jewish Perspective”.

The breakfast was held in conjunction with Beit Ariel, a Messianic Jewish congregation in Cape Town led by Herschel Raysman. Dr. Juster had spoken at a three day seminar at Beit Ariel prior to this Pastor’s breakfast engagement.

Dan has a wealth of theological experience and has written many books on subjects related to Messianic Judaism. He is Director of Tikkun International Ministries that provides oversight to 15 congregations in the USA, Israel and the FSU (Former Soviet Union). Tikkun International is a network of organizations dedicated to the restoration of Israel and the Church. Dan's view that Jewish believers should stay faithful to their roots and that churches with Jewish believers in their congregations should be sensitive to their background was very insightful. Dan is also the leading proponent of the “Towards Jerusalem Council II” endeavor.
